About Solar System Grand Prix

Thunderbolt and Menthor from THUNDER, the Wanderer from Hollowmere, a Veldrune explorer, an Aether pilot, the Asteroid Miner's drill rig, Helio and more line up on one grid. Race eight tracks built from their worlds across two cups, from Veldrune Valley and Hollowmere Bellway to THUNDER Storm City and Aether Skyway.

One of six free games built on Infinity’s own lightweight engine, so it starts instantly and leaves the console’s power for everything else.

In depth

How it works

The systems that make Solar System Grand Prix what it is.

Drift for speed

Hold drift while turning to build a mini-turbo. Drift longer and the sparks go from blue to orange to purple, and so does the boost. Hold accelerate while the countdown shows "1" for a boost start.

Items from every game

Six items, each from a Solar System game: Thunder Burst, Dodge Roll, Drill, Eclipse, Golf Shot and Rock Drop. Racers further back get better items.

Three modes

  • Grand Prix: two cups of four races against seven rivals, scored 15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. Finish the Infinity Cup in the top three to unlock the Solar Cup, and win cups to unlock bonus racers.
  • Time Trial: race a ghost of your best lap.
  • 2P Versus: split screen, with AI rivals on track too.
